Oh my!!!

Dallin has been feeding himself but I don't like messes so I never let him feed himself anything that is messy. Well I figured I might as well get over it cause it's only gonna get worse so here is the result of him eating yogurt.It really is so cute how big of a mess he makes and he just loves it!

New addition!!!

Lee has been in Texas for a week hunting on a ranch and the owners said that Dallin needed one of these puppies so that's what Dad brought home. I really didn't want another dog Maggie and Dallin keep me busy enough but she is cute so I guess I will have to get used to having two dogs. Dallin thinks she is the greatest thing ever because he can pick her up and carry her around. Last night Dallin woke up in the middle of the night and stayed up for an hour and a half playing with his new puppy. I was so tired and just wanted him to go back to sleep but it was cute he just would hug her and love on her. She wont be little for long so I guess it's OK.
She follows him everywhere and no we don't have a name yet any ideas let me know.

Horse of the Year!!!

I went to the year end awards banquet for N.B.H.A.(National Barrel Horse Association) last night and it turned out to be a really good night. We ended up second overall for the whole year and I was out for 4 months of the year so that was awesome. My horse Scottie got voted horse of the year and that made my night. He is almost 25 years old and can still run with the 7 year old horses he is just amazing. He has won me 5 saddles and countless buckles and other awards. I have ran on him all over the country for the last 10 years and he is like my best friend. Dallin absolutely loves him and we hope he is around for a long time so Dallin can learn as much as I have from him.

The Farm

We went down to the farm last weekend for my Grandmas 86th birthday. We had a lot of fun we rode 4-wheelers and ate way to much. Lee tried to kill everything that moved he caught quail in a trap and Dallin thought they were so cool. It was pretty cold so we stayed inside a lot. My Grandma was doing so good and she was very happy to get to come out to the farm and have lunch. This is how the trip started we hadn't even left our house.

Oh my gosh he was a mess. He had to be freezing it was not warm.

Snow and Movies

Dallin loves to wear this cool whip tub on his head every time we go out to my parents. It's the first thing he goes and gets and he walks around saying "hat, hat" it's so funny.Dallin took a little tumble at my parents the other day they have a little hill that's drops off from their front yard into the driveway. He decided he wanted to walk off the front yard and he tumbled about half way down it was so sad. He was covered in dirt and grass and mud in his mouth and everywhere. We could not believe that he only got one little scape and it doesn't even look as bad in the pictures. I'm sure it wont be the last one because he is all boy and has no fear.

We got allot of snow and I am tired of not being able to go do anything especially riding my horses. I love when it snows how the tree looks in my front yard, I think its really pretty I just wish it would only stay around for a few days and not have the mud. I'm ready for summer already.

Lee and I took Dallin to his first movie today we went and saw The Chipmunks the squeakqual. He did really well for the first half of the movie he loved sitting with his dad eating popcorn and thought the huge screen was really neat. Half way through I think he had enough of The Chipmunks cause he did not want to sit there any more so we left but I guess for a 1 year old that was pretty good.

This kid is obsessed with this hat and I love it!

He has been obsessed with shoes lately and tries to put them on all day. If Lee or I go put our shoes on he knows were going somewhere so he gets his and sits down and tries putting them on and after a few minutes he will bring them to one of us. He is getting so big its sad.
